Browns Twitter reacts to another last second win against the Steelers

The Browns are 7-3 and boy does that feel good

The Cleveland Browns won another nail-biter game at the last second as Dustin Hopkins hit a game-winning field goal to beat Pittsburgh. It was a battle for the Browns and they had to lean on their elite defense. At the end of the day, the offense did just enough with a game-winning drive.

It wasn’t pretty any way you slice it for the offense but in the biggest moment, rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson stepped up to get it done. Kevin Stefanski’s team fights their tails off from start to finish and if they can figure out the passing offense, it will be a fun series of games as the team fights for a playoff spot.

They continue to find ways to win and that is just not what past Cleveland Browns teams have done. This is truly not the same old Browns and they have a favorable stretch of games down the stretch.

Here is how Browns Twitter reacted to another big victory for Cleveland to get the seventh win of the year.

Browns WR Elijah Moore appears to want RB Michael Carter in Cleveland

Could there be a possible teammate reunion in Cleveland?

The New York Jets released running back Michael Carter on Tuesday, and he is now subject to waivers. Former Jet and current Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore took to Twitter to try and possibly suggest that Cleveland should consider pursuing Carter’s services.

Of course, because he is on waivers, even if Cleveland puts in a claim, he might go to someone higher on the waiver order. Carter had a solid rookie season but failed to really carve out a role since then. I’m not sure it makes sense in Cleveland the way the room is currently constructed, but it is absolutely worth consideration.

Carter is a quality pass catcher out of the backfield and could bring that interesting skill set to Cleveland. The biggest issue is finding where the snaps would come from if they added Carter. Jerome Ford played his best game as a pro last week and Kareem Hunt has a clear role so in the end though an interesting player it likely doesn’t make sense for the Browns.

Browns Twitter reacts to come-from-behind victory vs. Ravens

The Browns stepped up to the challenge and got revenge on the Ravens on the road in Baltimore. Here’s how Twitter reacted:

What a day for the Cleveland Browns, who proved to the NFL today that they are legitimate contenders.

It was a slow and ugly start, but quarterback Deshaun Watson did not throw an incompletion in the second half with several big throws and big runs to put them in the position to win. When the Browns play like they did Sunday against one of the league’s best, they can beat anyone.

It was another great day from defensive end Myles Garrett who made multiple big plays in the first half, including back-to-back sacks to push the Ravens out of field goal range. They were down by two scores multiple times in this game, and they never gave up and fought their way back into the game until they finally took the lead as time expired.

This is a statement win, the second of the season, and if the team can build off of this, at 6-3, they have a shot to do something special. Here is how Browns Twitter reacted to the 33-31 victory in Baltimore.

Browns Twitter reacts to dominating shutout win vs. Cardinals

Twitter enjoyed themselves after the teams fifth victory of the game

It has been a long time since the Cleveland Browns had shut out an opponent until today as they blanked the Arizona Cardinals by a score of 27-0. The defense was ready from the word go and did not allow rookie Clayton Tune to settle in or find any comfort in the pocket. At the end of the day, they sacked him seven times and forced three turnovers.

Deshaun Watson needed a little bit of time to get going but there were a couple of throws today that were so impressive to watch. His two bombs to Amari Cooper do suggest that he is truly healthy and figuring it out. If this team can give this kind of effort week in and week out they are a force to be reckoned with.

It was against a one-win Cardinals team but it isn’t easy to win in the NFL so when you get a chance to do so you celebrate. Let’s take a look at how Browns’ Twitter reacted to the big win.

Donovan Peoples-Jones says goodbye to Browns on Instagram

The receiver took to Instagram to express his gratitude for Cleveland.

The NFL trade deadline has come to a close, and the Cleveland Browns made just one move: they traded wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones to the Detroit Lions in exchange for a 2025 sixth round pick.

The writing was on the wall for the fourth-year receiver as he has just nine games left on his contract and the Browns made no effort to work on an extension with him this past offseason. By selecting Cedric Tillman in the third round of the 2023 NFL draft, the Browns signaled even further that Peoples-Jones was not in their long-term plans.

There is a ton to admire about Peoples-Jones, however, as he fought to get on the field right away as a sixth round pick in the 2020 NFL draft. He was on the receiving end of a couple of big-time catches, including a game-winner against the Cincinnati Bengals in 2021. The Michigan product now gets to resume his playing career in his hometown.

He did not leave without saying goodbye to Cleveland, however, taking to his Instagram to express his gratitude for the city and the Browns:

“Cleveland, I want to thank the ownership and coaching staff for the amazing opportunity that I’ve had the past few years. I’m so grateful for each experience, lesson, and the time that I’ve been blessed with during my time in Cleveland. I’m thankful for the staff and everyone else in the building that I was able to interact with on a daily basis. My teammates I will love forever, and I cherish the brotherhood that I’ve been apart of for the last few years. Thank you also to the fans that have accepted me and have been nothing but supportive since the day I arrived in Cleveland. I wish the Browns, and Cleveland the absolute best with everything moving forward.”

Best of luck to Peoples-Jones in Detroit!

Browns Twitter reacts to a gut-wrenching last-minute loss vs. Seahawks

The Browns came roaring back only to have their hearts ripped out on the Seahawks final offensive drive of the game.

It was a rollercoaster of emotion for Cleveland Browns fans as they watched the team fight back from a 14-0 deficit only to have their hearts broken in a 24-20 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Kevin Stefanski coached a great ball game offensive getting the most out of their backup quarterback and a running game without Nick Chubb.

In the end, it was an interesting decision to put the ball in the hands of P.J. Walker to try and win the game. The offensive line played their best game collectively and they were running the ball at will, especially in the second half. However, it is worth pointing out that there were two players wide open if Walker had just not locked onto Amari Cooper.

It was a hard-fought game that proved there is plenty of talent on this roster if they can just get average quarterback play. Whatever you want to say about Stefanski his teams come to play and play hard for him week in and out. Let’s see how Browns Twitter reacted to the loss.

Browns Twitter reacts to wild finish as team beats the Colts 39-38

It wasn’t pretty but they got the win and it’s all that matters

What a finish to the Browns and Colts game that kept everyone on the edge of their seats from start to finish. It started with a massive touchdown from Jerome Ford and ended with Kareem Hunt just barely breaking the plain to give the Browns a big win on the road.

Deshaun Watson looked bad in his return before leaving with an injury and there are more questions than answers for the quarterback position. But at the end of the day, wins are all that really matter and Cleveland found a way to come out on top again.

Back-to-back weeks in which the Browns needed last-minute drives from P.J. Walker at quarterback and he found a way to deliver. It doesn’t matter how you win only that you find a way to do it, that’s what good teams do.

Let’s take a look at how Browns Twitter reacted to the last-second win over the Colts.

Browns players take to social media to celebrate win over 49ers

Browns players had their fun on social media after the game

The Cleveland Browns did the unthinkable today. Despite missing quarterback Deshaun Watson, despite missing All-Pros Joel Bitonio, Nick Chubb, and Jack Conklin, they found a way to hand the NFL juggernaut San Francisco 49ers their first loss of the season. Quarterback P.J. Walker, while he was far from perfect, deserves his flowers for finding a way to scrape this offense down the field to 19 points on the day.

Through it all, the Browns find a way to drag the 49ers through the mud with them, picking up a big-time win. The Browns are back on everybody’s radar after this one.

After the Niners started a pregame shoving match with the Browns on their turf, the Browns were not shy about talking their talk on social media after the game. Here is the best look at Browns players taking to social media to celebrate a big win as they advance to 3-2 on the season.

Browns Twitter goes wild after handing 49ers their first loss of the season

Cleveland gets a massive win and the fans celebrated on Twitter

There weren’t many people who thought the Cleveland Browns could pull off the upset facing the previously undefeated 49ers. But the team rode on the back of their elite defense and got just enough offense to win without quarterback Deshaun Watson and Joel Bitonio.

Some asked if the Browns’ defense is for real suggesting they hadn’t beaten any great offenses but they shut down Brock Purdy from the start a player who was getting MVP buzz around the league. It was an ugly and hard-fought victory but good teams find a way to win these games and Cleveland did just this.

All in all, this is a huge win for the Browns as they look to get to an easier stretch coming up as they look to make a run at the playoffs. 3-2 after five games two without your franchise QB is huge.

Let’s take a look at how fans reacted to the game on Twitter.

Browns Twitter reacts to the looming mystery of Deshaun Watson’s shoulder

The Browns sat Deshaun Watson in Week 4 before the bye, and he is still not practicing. This has raised eyebrows among Twitter detectives…

The Cleveland Browns are set to face the NFL’s elite this week as they welcome the San Francisco 49ers to Northeast Ohio. One of the major concerns, however, is the lingering shoulder injury of quarterback Deshaun Watson. Despite resting his shoulder against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4 and through the bye week, Watson was still not practicing outside with the team when they returned to the facility on Monday. This has caused the detectives on Browns Twitter to collectively raise their eyebrows.

We saw what it looked like when rookie backup quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson was forced to take the field a week ago. The concern among the fanbase about the competitiveness of this team without Watson is in their tone and voices.

Here is the best of from Browns Twitter as the fanbase reels and responds to the jarring news that Watson is still not ready to roll despite two weeks off.
