Video: Francis Ngannou takes down Manchester United keeper André Onana: ‘I demand a rematch’

Check out this fun moment at Old Trafford with Francis Ngannou and André Onana, two of Cameroon’s finest athletes.

What happens when a world heavyweight MMA champion takes on a world-class goalkeeper in a fight? It’s a question that doesn’t really need an answer, and luckily, [autotag]Francis Ngannou[/autotag] was just play fighting with Manchester United’s André Onana.

Ngannou linked up with fellow Cameroonian Onana at Old Trafford in Manchester, England, and the two squared up on the pitch with big smiles on their faces. Then Ngannou gave Onana a taste of what it would be like if Ngannou got a hold of him, and “The Predator” took down Onana with a trip and mounted him.

Onana, 28, stands 6-foot-3 and is not a small man. However, considering Ngannou just did a similar thing to a 6-foot-8 Renan Ferreira in his PFL debut, it’s certainly no surprise the heavyweight Superfights champion toyed with the Premier League keeper.

“I demand a rematch in a real ring! 🥊 Let’s settle this once and for all! @francisngannou,” Onana wrote in a caption on the video posted to Instagram.

Jon Jones fact-checked by Community Notes after claiming to be oldest current UFC champion

After claiming to be the oldest current UFC champion, Jon Jones was slapped with a Community Note on X. That honor belongs to Alex Pereira.

[autotag]Jon Jones[/autotag] may have sparked all sorts of valid debates about pound-for-pound rankings and legacy after beating Stipe Miocic at UFC 309, but one thing will always remain true: facts are facts.

Jones, 37, returned to the octagon on Nov. 16 at Madison Square Garden in New York for his second heavyweight title fight and soundly defeated former champion Miocic, 42, by third-round TKO.

Age was a hot topic going into the fight, considering Jones was publicly (and still is) opposed to fighting Tom Aspinall, 31, who holds and has defended the interim title in the division. Oddsmakers, pundits and fans expected Jones to roll over a past-his-prime Miocic, and that’s exactly what happened.

Coming out of the fight, Jones has kept age at the forefront of discussion, but now, he’s using it in his favor – or at least attempting to.

“In 2011, I became the youngest champion in UFC history,” Jones wrote on X. “Today, I’m proud to stand as the oldest champion on the roster.. Age is just a number when your mind and spirit stay sharp.”

The first sentence of Jones’ tweet is factual. He became the youngest UFC champion in history by defeating Mauricio “Shogun” Rua at UFC 128 when he was 23.

However, the second sentence is not, and Jones became a victim of the infamous Community Notes on X, which serves as a means to fact check claims on the platform.

Jones is younger than current UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira, coincidentally, the same person who could end up being Jones’ next opponent if the UFC decides to throw all meaning of an interim title out of the window.

Jones was born on July 19, 1987. Pereira was born on July 7 of the same year, making “Poatan” 12 days older than “Bones.”

Whether it was a miscalculation or an oversight, Jones got hit facts incorrect on this one. Even if the difference is less than two weeks, the numbers are what they are.

To Jones’ credit, the overall theme of the message is truly impressive.

Inside the cage, Jones has created an amazing pro career that began in 2008. He fought six times that year on the regional scene and made his UFC debut in his seventh fight at UFC 87 in August. He became the youngest UFC champion, won a title in a second division at 35, and largely appears to be the same dominant force.

Video: Michael Chandler shows off insane pitting swelling after UFC 309 Charles Oliveira rematch

Days after a rematch against Charles Oliveira at UFC 309, Michael Chandler is dealing with some crazy pitting swelling on his leg.

So, you want to be a UFC fighter?

As [autotag]Michael Chandler[/autotag] found out after his rematch with Charles Oliveira at UFC 309, that includes signing up for some insane post-fight effects on the body.

Chandler (23-9 MMA, 2-4 UFC) went 25 minutes against Oliveira (35-10 MMA, 23-10 UFC) in a thrilling Fight of the Night rematch of their first meeting at UFC 262. “Do Bronx” hit Chandler with everything in his arsenal, but couldn’t finish the fight this time around.

Despite the loss, Chandler took pride in entertaining the fans with a furious near-comeback in the final round, but later revealed it was the most pain he’s ever experienced.

For the time being, Chandler is on the road to recovery from the hellacious battle. A part of his post-fight ailments is pitting edema swelling on his leg, which also has a few bruises and scrapes.

In a video posted to his Instagram Stories, Chandler pressed his fingers into his leg and showed off the deep indention that remained.

According to Osmosis, pitting edema results from excess fluid build-up, and can be resolved on its own in mild cases. Elevating the affected limb helps with recovery.

In another video posted to Instagram, Chandler relayed a health update, in which he stated he has been actively recovering from his rematch with Oliveira by utilizing multiple methods including a hyperbaric chamber, a red light bed and cold plunges. “Iron” is also awaiting results of MRIs, but said he’s not slowing down as he looks ahead to 2025.

Jake Paul, like all of us, couldn’t believe Mike Tyson’s entire butt was on Netflix

Mike Tyson’s entire butt uncensored on TV? Jake Paul definitely didn’t see that coming. None of us did!

Raise your hand if you were completely caught off guard by [autotag]Mike Tyson[/autotag]’s whole butt appearing on Netflix uncensored. All of us, right? Definitely didn’t see that coming!

But it happened last Friday night shortly before Tyson was set to fight [autotag]Jake Paul[/autotag] in the Netflix boxing headliner at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium.

What was supposed to be a nice father-son-moment, with Tyson being interviewed in his locker room by son Amir Tyson, went viral for the wrong reason once the camera zoomed out at the conclusion of the interview. When that happened, Tyson’s entire 58-year-old butt was on our screens as he turned and walked away.

Paul was in his dressing room warming up with the Netflix live stream on a TV, and he, too, saw Tyson’s butt in real time.

Check out Paul’s hilarious reaction below (via Instagram):

“Bro, what the f*ck?!?”

Yeah, man. That was all of us.

Paul went on to defeat Tyson by clear unanimous decision after eight, 2-minute rounds that were largely lackluster. He later admitted he didn’t want to hurt Tyson and carried the fight.

Video: Watch Mike Tyson’s morbid answer to kid interviewer’s question about legacy

Perhaps Mike Tyson forgot in the moment that he was talking to a kid?

You never know what type of answer you might get from [autotag]Mike Tyson[/autotag] if you ask him a question, and it doesn’t matter how old you are. A kid interviewer found out in an all-too-real way this week.

The child, who appears to be no older than 13, got some on-on-one time with Tyson on Wednesday either before or after the press conference to promote his Netflix boxing match with Jake Paul. What could’ve (and even should’ve) been a fun and light interview took an unexpected dark turn when she asked Tyson about his legacy. Things got a little too deep for a kid her age!

Here’s her question: “In your return to the ring for this fight, you are setting a monumental opportunity for kids my age to see the legend Mike Tyson in the ring for the first time. What type of legacy would you like to leave behind when it’s all said and done?”

And here’s video of Tyson’s answer (via X):

Whoever got Tyson to agree to this interview, there’s no way they expected it to go like THAT. Talking about death and dropping F-bombs in an interview with a little girl? Yikes!

Perhaps Tyson forgot in the moment that he was talking to a kid.

Photos: Jon Jones’ UFC 309 custom Venum fight shorts feature tattooed Bible verse, roaring lion heads

Check out photos of Jon Jones’ custom shorts for his title fight against Stipe Miocic at UFC 309.

Unique fight shorts are the new wave in the UFC, and heavyweight champ [autotag]Jon Jones[/autotag] will rock his first custom Venum fight kit shorts at UFC 309 when he puts his title on the line against Stipe Miocic.

Jones has only competed once thus far in the Venum era. He wore black shorts when he made his heavyweight debut against Ciryl Gane at UFC 285. Jones won the vacant UFC heavyweight title that night by submitting Gane in the first round.

Jones will wear his first custom Venum kit for his first title defense on Nov. 16 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

The black shorts feature two red roaring lion heads with gold lettering for Jones’s name, the UFC and Venum logos, and Philippians 4:13, the Bible verse the champ tattooed on his chest.

Jones joins the recent wave of custom Venum kits, which have caught the attention of fans as the designs allow some star fighters to differentiate themselves in the cage.

UFC light heavyweight champ Alex Pereira wore a vibrant tribal design at UFC 300, while former bantamweight champ Sean O’Malley debuted neon pink shorts at UFC 306 as recent examples of popular custom offerings.

Last week at UFC Fight Night 246 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, former UFC flyweight champ [autotag]Brandon Moreno[/autotag] rocked custom Mexico-themed shorts that turned many heads as well.

Video: UFC’s Diego Lopes throws giant cakes at fans during Steve Aoki concert in Mexico

UFC featherweight contender Diego Lopes was on stage to assist with what’s become a Steve Aoki concert tradition.

Steve Aoki fans in Mexico got a big surprise during his Guadalajara tour stop.

The famous DJ, who is also an avid MMA fan, invited [autotag]Diego Lopes[/autotag] as a special guest Monday night. Apart from his sets, Aoki has made a tradition of throwing giant cakes at the crowd during his shows and, well, this time he had help from the UFC featherweight contender.

Watch here (via Instagram):

Although he wasn’t needed, Lopes (26-6 MMA, 5-1 UFC) recently served as the official backup for the UFC 308 title fight between Ilia Topuria and Max Holloway last month in Abu Dhabi. He’s currently ranked No. 3 in the official UFC rankings and has yet to be booked.

Lopes is on a five-fight wining streak, with the most recent victory a dominant unanimous decision over former title challenger Brian Ortega at UFC 306 in September.

Fight Tracks: The walkout songs of UFC Fight Night 246 with the Eminem Curse, Nickelback and Goatwhore

Check out all the fighter walkout songs from Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 246 event in Edmonton.

While it takes intense training, world-class skills and maybe even a bit of luck to register a UFC win, picking the right song to accompany you to the cage is a key talent, as well.

See what the fighters from UFC Fight Night 246 went with as their backing tracks in Edmonton (fighters listed alphabetically).

Ahead of UFC Edmonton, Derrick Lewis is reconsidering post-fight interview shenanigans – or so he says

No way. Have Derrick Lewis’ kids made “The Black Beast” turn over a new leaf?

Whether it’s “my balls was hot,” “where Ronda Rousey’s fine ass,” the time he pulled his pants down and threw his cup into the crowd, or something else, [autotag]Derrick Lewis[/autotag] has provided UFC fans with some hilariously memorable post-fight interview moments through the years.

But heading into UFC Fight Night 246, don’t expect another one from “The Black Beast” – or so he says. The reason? Things are getting kind of weird when he’s at his kids’ school.

“This year I’ve been trying to spend a lot of time with my kids at school, and they’re in elementary and stuff like that. And so me going to school and the kids ask me about my balls and things like that, it’s just very uncomfortable, man,” Lewis told reporters, including MMA Junkie, with a laugh at Wednesday’s media day. “I want to change up everything. I’m not even taking my shorts off no more. I didn’t think about the other kids, the other kids’ families watching stuff like that, hearing me talk the way I talk, and me doing stuff I’m doing, so I’m just really trying to clean up my act. Be a class act this weekend, very professional.”

Yeah, OK. We’ll believe it when we (don’t) see it!

Lewis returns Saturday at UFC Fight Night 246 from Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, where he’ll look for his second win in a row as he takes on Jhonata Diniz on the main card (ESPN+).

You can watch Lewis’ full, and clearly very serious, media day session with reporters in the video above.
