Watch: Aaron Rodgers passes 50,000-yard mark for his career

Aaron Rodgers went over the 50,000-yard mark with a TD pass to Robert Tonyan

The great Aaron Rodgers was schooling the Chicago Bears on Sunday and theΒ  Green Bay Packers’ quarterback climbed over another plateau in the process.

With his 39-yard touchdown pass to Robert Tonyan in the third quarter, Rodgers went over the 50,000-yard mark for his fabulous career.

Rodgers came into the game with 49,835 yards. His fourth touchdown pass of the game — and 397th of his career — went to Tonyan and gave Rodgers 172 yards.

That left him at 50,007 and counting.

Remember, this is a guy who threw 59 passes in three seasons while backing up Brett Favre before taking over as a starter.

Watch: Packers defense strips Mitchell Trubisky, scores touchdown

Za’Darius Smith stripped the ball from Mitchell Trubisky and Preston Smith took it into the end zone

Not sure it would matter who the Chicago Bears played at quarterback on Sunday the way the Green Bay Packers are going.

The NFC North leaders were en route to a crushing first half when they stripped the ball from Chicago quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. It was picked up by Preston Smith, who returned it 14 yards for the touchdown that made it 27-3 in the second quarter after the PAT.

The defensive touchdown came after Aaron Rodgers had already thrown 3 TD passes.

Watch: Allen Lazard flips first, Davante Adams gets Packers’ touchdown

Aaron Rodgers got Allen Lazard and Davante Adams involved early against the Bears

The action started fast on “Sunday Night Football” as Aaron Rodgers found Allen Lazard, who did some acrobatics on his way to a first down before being tackled.

Not to be outdone, Davante Adams completed the drive by catching a TD pass in his sixth straight game. The catch was the 500th of his NFL career and 55th touchdown.

Chicago Bears to start Mitchell Trubisky against Green Bay Packers

Mitchell Trubisky will start at QB for the Chicago Bears against the Green Bay Packers

The Chicago Bears are returning where they started the season at quarterback for their Week 12 game against the Green Bay Packers. Mitchell Trubisky will replace Nick Foles for the NFC North clash.

Trubisky won the starting job coming into the season. He was ineffective and replaced by Foles. He lost the job despite going 3-0 as the starter. However, his stats were meek as he threw for 560 yards before being replaced with six TD passes.

The Bears are slumping. Their record is 5-5 after a 5-1 start,

Watch: Cordarrelle Patterson returns kickoff 104 yards for record-equaling TD

Cordarrelle Patterson returned a kickoff 104 yards for his eighth career touchdown to tie for the most in NFL history.

The Chicago Bears had been outscored 56-7 in the third quarter of their first eight games. It took 14 seconds and a record-equaling performance to match their season output Monday night against the Minnesota Vikings.

Cordarrelle Patterson took the second-half kickoff back 104 yards for the eighth kickoff return touchdown of his NFL career. After the PAT, the Bears had a 13-7 lead.

The kickoff return for a TD puts Patterson in a tie with Josh Cribbs and Leon Washington for the most in NFL history.

Five others, including the late Bears great Gale Sayers, are tied with six kickoff returns for a touchdown.
