30. Jordan Spieth (+6600)

One of many former world No. 1’s in the 2020 Masters field, Spieth has slipped to No. 99 in the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings. The 2015 Masters champ hasn’t won a tournament since 2017, but he has never finished worse than T-21 at Augusta National and leads the field with an average of 3.38 strokes gained per round, according to Data Golf.

29. Phil Mickelson (+10000)

The three-time Masters champion has gone 2-for-2 to start his run on the PGA Tour Champions circuit. He missed the cut at last week’s Houston Open, as well as the US Open, but he tied for second in a star-studded field at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational to show he can still contend against the world’s best.

28. Rickie Fowler (+6600)

Has just two top 10s against seven missed cuts in 18 events in 2020. The five-time PGA Tour winner tied for ninth here last year and was the solo runner-up in 2018.

27. Cameron Smith (+8000)

Averaging 1.01 Strokes Gained: Putting through 16 rounds and four events to begin the 2020-21 PGA Tour season. He tied for fourth in a strong field at the Zozo Championship and has a top finish in the Masters of T-5 in 2018. He got his first PGA Tour win at the Sony Open in January.

26. Scottie Scheffler (+6600)

The reigning PGA Tour Rookie of the Year is one of the risky first-time Masters participants. No one has won here in their first attempt since Fuzzy Zoeller in 1979, but Scheffler tied for fourth at the PGA Championship to show major pedigree. He withdrew from the US Open after testing positive for COVID.

25. Tommy Fleetwood (+5000)

Once again, Fleetwood’s best results have come on the European Tour this year. He was the runner-up at the Scottish Open and tied for third at the Portugal Masters while missing the cut at the US Open and finishing T-29 at the PGA Championship. His putting was much improved last season with an average of 0.41 strokes gained per round.

24. Si Woo Kim (+15000)

The 2017 Players Championship winner ranked fourth on the PGA Tour last season in Par 4 Efficiency from the key distance range of 450-500 yards. He’s also strong around the greens and has two top-25 finishes here in the last two years.

23. Matt Kuchar (+12500)

Kuchar has had a largely disappointing 2020 following a victory at the Asian Tour’s SMBC Singapore Open. He missed the cut at both the US Open and PGA Championship, but he hasn’t missed the cut here in 10 straight attempts since his 2002 debut. He was second in 3-Putt Avoidance last season.

22. Lee Westwood (+10000)

The veteran Englishman returns to Augusta National for the first time since 2017 after re-entering the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking earlier this year. He missed the cut at the Houston Open but had previously rung up six straight top-20 finishes before a T-30 at the Italian Open.

21. Paul Casey (+6600)

Registered the best major finish of his career with a T-2 at the PGA Championship. He missed the cut here in 2019 but had three straight finishes of T-6 or better from 2015-2017.

20. Sungjae Im (+8000)

Im’s odds to win have ballooned since before the PGA Tour season was suspended for the pandemic. He won The Honda Classic and finished third at the Arnold Palmer Invitational but hasn’t finished better than T-9 in 18 events since the restart.

19. Tiger Woods (+4000)

Looks to become the first back-to-back winner of the Masters since he did so in 2001-2002. A win ties him with Jack Nicklaus’ record of six green jackets and gives him sole possession of the PGA Tour’s all-time win record of 83. He missed the cut at the US Open and finished T-37 at the PGA Championship.

18. Collin Morikawa (+3300)

The PGA Championship winner has three PGA Tour victories since last July. He hasn’t played great since his first major win and is going against the trends in his Augusta National debut.

17. Hideki Matsuyama (+2800)

Tied for second last week with a much better than usual putting performance. He averaged 0.30 strokes lost per round with the flat stick last season and was just 142nd in 3-Putt Avoidance.

16. Justin Rose (+5000)

Rose is third to Woods and Mickelson among those with a minimum of 50 rounds played at Augusta National with 2.30 strokes gained per round. He missed the cut last year for the first time in 14 career appearances with two runner-ups and three other top-10 showings.

15. Patrick Reed (+2800)

The 2018 Masters champ has played sparingly of late, but he has four straight top-20 finished, including a T-3 at the European Tour’s marquee BMW PGA Championship. His putting was once again a strength in the 2019-20 season.

14. Adam Scott (+5000)

Scott finished just T-32 last week, but he averaged 0.46 Strokes Gained: Putting and 0.98 SG: Approach per round. He bridged his 2019 and 2020 seasons with victories at the Australian PGA Championship and the PGA Tour’s Genesis Invitational but has played just five events since the restart.

13. Bubba Watson (+2800)

The two-time Masters champ finished in the top 10 of The CJ Cup and Zozo Championship in his final warmup events. He wasn’t great around the greens last season, but Augusta is a completely different test he has aced before.

12. Jason Day (+3300)

Day finished T-7 in Houston with 1.86 SG: Tee-to-Green and 0.55 SG: Putting. Injuries have hampered the former world No. 1 over the past few seasons, but he has returned to No. 41 in the OWGR with six top 10s in 19 events this year. He tied for fifth at the 2019 Masters.

11. Xander Schauffele (+1400)

A staple major contender who tied for second last year. It will be only his third Masters appearance, but he has seven top 10s in 13 career majors.

10. Rory McIlroy (+1200)

When removing past success and popularity, there hasn’t been much to like about McIlroy’s game this year. Still, he has no missed cuts in 16 events and was able to backdoor a T-8 finish at the US Open. His betting odds are suppressed as he tries again to complete the career grand slam.

9. Tyrrell Hatton (+2800)

Hatton has a top finish of just T-44 in three appearances at the Masters, but he has five career top 10s in majors before missing the cut at the 2020 PGA Championship and US Open. Outside of those, he has two victories and six other top 10s in 12 international events this year. He ranked third on Tour with 2.19 total strokes gained per round last season.

8. Patrick Cantlay (+2200)

Comes into the Masters ninth in the Golfweek rankings following his victory at the Zozo Championship. He’s one of the steadiest on Tour around the greens and was the low amateur here in 2012 before a T-9 last year.

7. Tony Finau (+2500)

Finau takes a lot of heat for his inability to close out victories, but he has a top-5 finish in each major since 2018, including a T-5 at last year’s Masters. He was 10th on Tour in Par 4 Efficiency: 450-500 Yards last year.

6. Jon Rahm (+1000)

Rahm comes into his fourth career Masters No. 1 in the Golfweek rankings. He tied for ninth last year, finished fourth in 2018 and tied for 27th in his 2017 debut. He led all golfers with 2.40 total strokes gained per round over 17 events last year.

5. Webb Simpson (+3300)

Simpson has become one of the top value plays this week after winning twice earlier in 2020. He tied for 37th at the PGA Championship and improved to T-8 at the US Open. He was first on Tour in Bogey Avoidance, seventh in 3-Putt Avoidance and first in Par 4 Efficiency last year.

4. Bryson DeChambeau (+800)

The US Open champ by six strokes has been the betting favorite for the Masters ever since. He’s averaging 4.04 total strokes gained per round over eight rounds to start the 2020-21 season. His all-or-nothing mentality means he can win this tournament by a wide margin, but he could miss the cut if things go poorly on Augusta’s tormenting putting surfaces.

3. Justin Thomas (+1100)

Thomas has won twice with two runner-ups, two third-place finishes and four other top 10s in 18 events in 2020. He’s the safest play in the field, but he hasn’t finished better than T-12 in four trips to Augusta, Georgia.

2. Brooks Koepka (+1600)

Koepka slipped from No. 1 to No. 12 in the OWGR in 2020, but he finally showed flashes of his old self with a T-5 finish at the Houston Open. He shot back-to-back rounds of 65 over the weekend to drastically drop his betting odds for this week. The four-time major champ tied for second here last year.

1. Dustin Johnson (+900)

Johnson recaptured the top spot in the OWGR with victories at the Travelers Championship and The Northern Trust since the restart. He tied for second at the PGA Championship and for sixth at the US Open before returning to play with a seemingly-casual T-2 at the Houston Open. He hasn’t finished worse than T-10 in his last four Masters appearances and tied for second last year.

Fantasy Golf Power Rankings for the 2020 Houston Open

Analyzing the best fantasy golf picks for the 2020 Houston Open, with PGA Tour power rankings of the top-30 golfers.

The 2020 Masters Tournament is just one week away. The PGA Tour and many of the world’s best golfers first make one more stop at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas, for the Vivint Houston Open. Below, we look at the fantasy golf power rankings for the top 30 golfers at the 2020 Houston Open.

30. Shane Lowry (+5500)

The 2019 Champion Golfer of the Year has just two top-10 finishes but seven missed cuts in 20 international events in 2020. He has a poor history at the Masters, including missed cuts in 2019 and 2017, and may be more focused on this event than the ‘big-name’ golfers usually are.

29. Cameron Davis (+7000)

Enters the week 37th in the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings following a T-6 at the Sanderson Farms Championship and T-52 at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. Averaging 0.55 Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green and 0.46 SG: Putting through 12 measured rounds on the 2020-21 season, according to Data Golf.

28. Si Woo Kim (+5000)

Followed up a T-8 at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open with a T-17 finish in a strong field at The CJ Cup. Is averaging 0.89 SG: Tee-to-Green over his last 18 rounds.

27. Stewart Cink (+6600)

The 47-year-old has made four straight cuts with a win at the Safeway Open and a T-4 at the Bermuda Championship last week. He’s in great form after getting his first win in 11 years.

26. Alex Noren (+9000)

Likewise, Noren has been playing his best PGA Tour golf in some time with three top 10s in 18 events this year. He won’t participate in the 2020 Masters but can book his ticket to the 2021 tournament with a win this week.

25. Kevin Streelman (+8000)

Steelman was playing his best golf early in the PGA Tour’s mid-summer restart but cooled off with back-to-back missed cuts at the US Open and Shriners.

24. Wyndham Clark (+8000)

Comes off a disappointing playoff loss to Brian Gay at the Bermuda Championship last week after charging up the leaderboard with a Sunday 65. It may be difficult to bounce back one week later.

23. Brandt Snedeker (+9000)

The nine-time PGA Tour champ will be heading to Augusta National next week and will be looking to do so on a positive note with just one top-10 result on the year.

22. Lee Westwood (+8000)

Heads back to the Masters for the first time since 2017 after re-entering the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking much earlier this year. He tied for 13th at the US Open in his only PGA Tour event since the restart.

21. MacKenzie Hughes (+10000)

Hughes, 55th in the Golfweek rankings, is one of the top players in this week’s field by that measure who won’t be in the Masters next week. He has six top 10s in 20 events this year for one of his most successful years on Tour.

Place your legal, online 2020 Houston Open bets in CO, IN, NJ, TN and WV at BetMGM. Risk-free first bet! Terms and conditions apply. Bet Now!

20. Brian Harman (+5000)

The 22nd-ranked golfer in the Golfweek rankings doesn’t have a win since 2017 but will look to join the trend of players snapping those long slumps early in the 2020-21 season.

19. Keegan Bradley (+8000)

The 2011 PGA Championship winner won’t attend the Masters for the third time in the last four years. He should be motivated to secure another invitation with a win after dropping to 122nd in the OWGR.

18. Emiliano Grillo (+8000)

Has made nine straight cuts dating back to late July with two top 10s and a best finish of T-3 at the 3M Open in that span. His short game and putter have been weaknesses.

17. Sergio Garcia (+3500)

Followed up victory at the Sanderson Farms Championship with a T-43 at the Shriners and a T-21 at The CJ Cup. Continues to struggle with the flat stick but has been great off-the-tee and from tee-to-green.

16. Lanto Griffin (+4500)

Got his first PGA Tour win in this event last year but that was at Golf Club of Houston. He comes off a T-7 at The CJ Cup and a T-11 at the Zozo Championship to show he could defend his title against stiffer competition.

15. Zach Johnson (+4500)

Tied for eighth at the US Open as part of a five-event streak of making the cut. Averaging 0.98 SG: Tee-to-Green with 0.97 SG: Putting through 12 rounds early this season.

14. Jason Day (+3500)

Likely one of those looking ahead to next week but found his top form this summer and could get his first win since 2018 against a more moderate field.

13. Russell Henley (+2200)

Ranks 27th in the Golfweek rankings following a T-3 at The CJ Cup and T-4 at the Zozo Championship, both against elite fields. Won’t be going to the Masters but can take advantage of his top current form and book his ticket for 2021 with a win.

12. Denny McCarthy (+6600)

Tied for fourth in a considerably weaker field last week and is putting the ball extremely well to compensate for other weaknesses in his current form.

11. Corey Conners (+5000)

Will be going to Augusta next week and is coming off a T-8 at the Zozo Championship. He’s now playing his best golf of the year after a largely disappointing 2020.

10. Adam Scott (+3300)

Has played just six PGA Tour events since winning in back-to-back starts at the Australian PGA Championship and The Genesis Invitational to bridge his 2019 and 2020 calendars. Should be motivated to play a full four rounds.

9. Hideki Matsuyama (+1800)

Averaging 1.75 SG: Tee-to-Green over his last 14 rounds but with 0.35 strokes lost putting per round. That’s a part of his game he’ll need to get right before another run at Augusta.

8. Doc Redman (+5000)

Entered Sunday with the 54-hole lead in Bermuda before finishing T-4. He has been steadily climbing the OWGR with three top-5 finishes since the PGA Championship.

7. Tony Finau (+1600)

Finished in a tie for 11th at the Zozo Championship in his first event since a T-8 at the US Open. He’s the third-best player in the field by the Golfweek rankings.

6. Sungjae Im (+2800)

Few were in as good of form before the midseason suspension of play as Im. He’s struggling around-the-green and with the putter through 20 rounds on the new season.

5. Dustin Johnson (+700)

A co-runner-up at last year’s Masters, Johnson will be looking to get right and loosened up after sitting out of competitive play since the US Open due to a positive COVID-19 result. He’s looking for his third win since the restart.

4. Brooks Koepka (+2000)

Koepka tied for 28th at The CJ Cup after some time off to rest a nagging knee injury. He’s always a major risk in these sorts of events, but he had a hand in the Memorial Park redesign and has a sizable advantage.

3. Scottie Scheffler (+2000)

The PGA Tour’s 2020 Rookie of the Year will make his first appearance at the Masters next week. Is looking to recapture his top form after missing the US Open due to a positive COVID-19 test.

2. Tyrrell Hatton (+1200)

Hatton’s a surprise participant this week after earning his second win of 2020 at the European Tour’s BMW PGA Championship last month. He returned to North America with a T-3 at The CJ Cup before a T-28 at the Zozo Championship.

1. Viktor Hovland (+2200)

The best player in this week’s field who won’t be playing Augusta despite winning the Puerto Rico Open and finishing as the low amateur at last year’s Masters and US Open. He will be there next year after moving into the top 50 of the OWGR but will still be motivated for his first full-point win.

Fantasy Golf Power Rankings for the 2020 Bermuda Championship

Analyzing the best fantasy golf picks for the 2020 Bermuda Championship, with PGA Tour power rankings of the top-30 golfers.

The 2020 Bermuda Championship brings a mixed field to Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda. Brendon Todd returns to defend his 2019 title in the inaugural running of the event. He’s one of the few who’ll be making his way to Augusta National for the Masters Tournament in two weeks (Nov. 12-15); this week’s winner will receive an invite to the 2021 Masters next April.

Below, we look at the fantasy golf power rankings for the top 30 golfers at the 2020 Bermuda Championship.

30. Luke List (+4000)

Won his only Korn Ferry Tour start of 2020 and will be playing against similar competition this week. He has two top 10s on the PGA Tour this year.

29. Peter Malnati (+4500)

Followed a runner-up finish at the Sanderson Farms Championship with a T-5 at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open before an ill-timed two-week break. Relied a little too heavily on his putter in those results to be a safe pick this week.

28. Padraig Harrington (+5500)

The former Open Championship winner didn’t play either the PGA Championship or US Open while remaining in Europe. He was T-9 in a strong field at the Scottish Open.

27. David Hearn (+9000)

Tied for eighth in this event last year while averaging 1.46 strokes gained per round on the field, according to Data Golf. Has missed 12 cuts through 16 events in 2020.

26. Will Gordon (+10000)

Hasn’t been able to find further success since a surprise T-3 finish against a strong field at the Travelers Championship. His driver won’t be as much of an advantage at the petite Port Royal.

25. Josh Teater (+10000)

The veteran pro has performed extremely well in these weaker-field events over the last two years. He was the runner-up at the Puerto Rico Open earlier in 2020 and tied for 11th in this event last year to go with a T-13 at the Barracuda Championship and a T-6 at the Barbasol Championship.

24. Rafa Cabrera-Bello (+6000)

A T-23 at the US Open was his best result since the PGA Tour’s mid-June restart. He typically plays better in bigger events and may not be fully devoted in Bermuda.

23. Wyndham Clark (+7000)

One of the best putters on Tour when he’s on and could join in on the scoring fest at a shorter, easier course. Has struggled more with the flat stick early in the 2020-21 season.

22. Hudson Swafford (+8000)

The winner of the recent Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship will be playing similar competition this week and birdies will again be easy to come by.

21. Max Homa (+8000)

Has missed the cut in four of his last five events but flashed potential with a T-3 at the 3M Open this summer.

20. Tyler McCumber (+6600)

Missed the cut last week after a runner-up finish in the Dominican Republic and a T-6 at the Sanderson Farms Championship. His putting stroke has been awful with an average of 1.09 strokes lost per round.

19. Patrick Rodgers (+5500)

Missed the cut here last year while losing 2.12 total strokes per round to the field. He should fit well if his putter can get back to 2019-20 form.

18. Cameron Tringale (+3300)

Averaging 1.12 SG: Putting per round through three events and 10 rounds early in the 2020-21 season. Coming off a T-19 finish at the Shriners.

17. Emiliano Grillo (+3300)

Has made eight straight cuts with two top 10s since late July. He’s averaging 0.76 SG: Approach over his last four events.

16. Stewart Cink (+6600)

Won the Safeway Open with a score of minus-21 at the comparable Silverado Resort and Spa. He averaged 2.30 SG: Tee-to-Green at that event and will need to lean on the same skill here.

15. Sepp Straka (+5500)

Tied for 14th at the Safeway Open on a similar course and against stiffer competition for his best result since picking up three top 20s this summer.

14. Wesley Bryan (+5000)

Averaging 1.22 total strokes gained per round through six rounds to start the young season. Gaining 0.53 strokes per round on approach while recapturing an old strength.

13. Danny Willett (+5000)

Broke a slump of five straight missed cuts with a T-32 at the European Tour’s BMW PGA Championship. Needs to get his game in order ahead of the Masters.

12. Charley Hoffman (+2800)

Tied for sixth at the Sanderson Farms Championship before a missed cut at the Shriners. Has struggled on approach through four events this season.

11. Kristoffer Ventura (+3300)

Has been riding a hot putting stroke with a T-7 at the Safeway Open and a T-6 at the Sanderson Farms Championship. Won twice on the KFT last year and is playing similar competition this week.

10. Justin Suh (+4500)

The forgotten man of the star-studded 2019 PGA Tour rookie class will look to get a step closer to Matthew WolffViktor Hovland and Collin Morikawa. Tied for eighth at the Shriners last time out.

9. Rasmus Hojgaard (+4000)

Won the European Tour’s ISPS HANDA UK Championship in late August but has missed the cut in two of four events since.

8. Henrik Norlander (+4000)

Has struggled around the greens early this season but has averaged 0.39 SG: Off-the-Tee per round. Neither driving distance nor accuracy is too important at Port Royal.

7. Aaron Wise (+3300)

One of the few returning members of the 2019 field. Tied for third last year and more recently finished eighth at the Barracuda Championship.

6. Will Zalatoris (+1100)

The top player in the field by the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings and has three top-10 finishes in four events since moving up from the Korn Ferry Tour.

5. Harold Varner III (+2200)

Gaining 1.38 total strokes per round on the field through his last two events. Leads the Tour in Birdie or Better Percentage through eight rounds.

4. Denny McCarthy (+2500)

Tied for sixth at the Sanderson Farms Championship before a 57th-place result at the Shriners. He’s averaging 0.91 SG: Putting per round.

3. Doc Redman (+2800)

Two T-3s and two missed cuts in his last five events. He’s averaging 0.95 SG: Approach over his last 10 rounds.

2. Henrik Stenson (+4000)

The marquee attraction of the Bermuda Championship is likely to be more focused on his preparations for the Masters, but there’s no denying he could run away with this tournament if he’s fully focused.

1. Brendon Todd (+1400)

The 2019 champ also won the Mayakoba Golf Classic in his next event but has just one top 10 on the 2020 calendar year.

Analyzing the best fantasy golf picks for the 2020 Zozo Championship, with PGA Tour power rankings of the top-30 golfers.

The PGA Tour returns to Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California, for the 2020 Zozo Championship. Defending champion Tiger Woods fronts a strong 78-man field for the no-cut event with the tournament relocating from Tokyo, Japan for 2020. Below, we look at the fantasy golf power rankings for the top 30 golfers for the 2020 Zozo Championship.

30. Jason Kokrak (+4500)

Coming off his first PGA Tour victory at last week’s CJ Cup @ Shadow Creek. The biggest reason was his field-best 2.57 Strokes Gained: Putting per round, according to Data Golf, so regression is likely to hit quickly.

29. Sebastian Munoz (+8000)

Finished ninth last week with a quality 1.73 SG: Tee-to-Green per round. Should navigate the twists and turns of Sherwood well.

28. Sungjae Im (+5000)

Tied for third at last year’s Zozo Championship in Japan for a then career-best result based on strength of field. Another expert ball-striker well suited to the venue.

27. Tommy Fleetwood (+4000)

The European Tour standout just can’t get it going in North America. Finished just T-59 in last week’s 78-man field while losing 1.72 strokes per round off-the-tee.

26. Abraham Ancer (+4500)

Had a rare negative approach game last week but averaged 0.93 SG: Around-the-Green per round.

25. Jason Day (+5000)

Seems very well suited to this week’s venue but will be a risky selection after withdrawing from the CJ Cup in the fourth round due to a neck injury.

24. Phil Mickelson (+8000)

Won his second straight PGA Tour Champions start and will transition back to the main circuit as a tune-up for the 2020 Masters (Nov. 12-15). He had previously missed the cut at the US Open.

23. Rickie Fowler (+5000)

Tied for 28th last week off of a missed cut in a weaker field at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open the week before. Struggled off the tee but was very strong around and on the greens in Las Vegas, Nevada.

22. Scottie Scheffler (+4000)

Still struggling to find his form after some forced time off due to a positive COVID-19 test. He was one of the best on Tour in SG: Tee-to-Green last season.

21. Harris English (+3300)

Snagged his fourth top-10 finish of 2020 last week at Shadow Creek. Did the heavy lifting with the putter but didn’t lose strokes in any key area.

20. Corey Conners (+12500)

Finished T-39 and T-22 at the Workday Charity Open and Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village Golf Club, respectively, and will look for more success on another Jack Nicklaus course in Southern California.

19. Adam Scott (+4000)

Has played just four events since the PGA Tour’s mid-June return, including both the PGA Championship and US Open. Has excelled at Nicklaus’ Muirfield Village over his career and will look to take that success south.

18. Patrick Cantlay (+2800)

Finished T-38 last week with 0.78 strokes lost putting per round and another 0.66 strokes lost on approach. His usually strong tee-to-green game should allow for a rebound at Sherwood CC.

17. Matthew Fitzpatrick (+2800)

Was very critical of his own game despite a T-12 finish last week. Another European Tour star still looking for success on the PGA Tour.

16. Joaquin Niemann (+3300)

Used a strong tee-to-green and approach game last week for a sixth-place finish in the strong field.

15. Hideki Matsuyama (+2500)

The pride of Japan loses his home-field advantage this week in California but will look to follow up on his runner-up finish in Tokyo last year against most of the same competition.

14. Patrick Reed (+2200)

Tied for third in the European Tour’s marquee BMW PGA Championship following a T-13 at the US Open. Has seven top 10s and a victory in 21 events in 2020 for one of the most underrated seasons on Tour.

13. Viktor Hovland (+3300)

Finished T-12 last week and will look to follow up on a third-place finish at Muirfield Village in the summer, where he led the field with 3.74 SG: Tee-to-Green and 1.56 SG: Off-the-Tee per round.

12. Tony Finau (+2800)

Expected to return after two missed events due to a positive COVID-19 test. Well suited for this venue with an excellent tee-to-green game.

11. Daniel Berger (+3300)

Ranked eighth on Tour last season with 1.86 Strokes Gained: Total per round. Struggled on the greens last week but averaged 1.08 SG: Off-the-Tee per round.

10. Matthew Wolff (+3300)

Went to high school just seven miles from the course. Went back-to-back as the runner-up at the US Open and Shriners Hospitals for Children Open before a 73rd-place finish last week.

9. Bubba Watson (+3300)

Second in last week’s field with 2.75 SG: Tee-to-Green per round. Should have a better putting performance on the Bentgrass greens.

8. Tiger Woods (+2800)

Leads the field with 3.68 strokes gained per round over 32 career rounds played at Sherwood. Won his own Hero World Challenge five times when it was hosted by this venue.

7. Tyrrell Hatton (+1800)

Finished what he considered to be a disappointing T-3 last week following his win at the BMW PGA Championship. Has moved up to 14th in the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings and will be a top name to watch at Augusta National.

6. Webb Simpson (+1600)

Didn’t play last week following a T-13 at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. Avoids trouble and is more likely to be in contention if the course plays tough.

5. Justin Thomas (+1100)

Led the Tour with 1.16 SG: Approach last season. Worked his way up to a T-12 finish last week despite a slow start and a poor-putting performance.

4. Jon Rahm (+900)

The No. 1 player in the Golfweek ranks led the PGA Tour with 2.40 total strokes gained per round last season. Won the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village GC under very difficult conditions.

3. Xander Schauffele (+1100)

Solo second-place finish last week without a blemish in his tournament stats. Averaged 2.15 SG: Tee-to-Green per round.

2. Rory McIlroy (+1200)

Likened Sherwood to Augusta National as he prepares for another shot at completing the career grand slam. Struggled to a 2-over final-round 74 last week to finish T-21 after gaining ground on moving day.

1. Collin Morikawa (+2000)

Won the 2020 PGA Championship at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, California, and the Workday Charity Open at Muirfield Village Golf Club. One of the Tour’s best on approach and from tee-to-green and will look to recapture his major form back in California.

Fantasy Golf Power Rankings for the 2020 CJ Cup @ Shadow Creek

Analyzing the best fantasy golf picks for the 2020 CJ Cup @ Shadow Creek, with PGA Tour power rankings of the top-30 golfers.

The CJ Cup will be played at Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the first time. It’s the first event of the PGA Tour’s relocated and abbreviated Asia swing and will be followed by the Zozo Championship next week. Below, we look at the fantasy golf power rankings for the top 30 golfers for the 2020 CJ Cup @ Shadow Creek.

This week’s event includes an exceptionally strong 78-man field featuring seven of the top 10 golfers in the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings. Brooks Koepka (No. 69) makes his return to tournament play for the first time since the Wyndham Championship. Tiger Woods is expected to return next week to defend his title at the Zozo ahead of the 2020 Masters (Nov. 12-15).

Odds provided by BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Odds last updated Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. ET.

30. Brendon Todd (+8000)

Todd’s coming off a rare multi-week break following a T-23 finish at the US Open. He showed well at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational with a T-15 and a T-8 at the BMW Championship. Both were no-cut events.

29. Bubba Watson (+7000)

Has never competed in the CJ Cup @ Nine Bridges in South Korea but will tee it up in Las Vegas. At 7,527 yards and with wide fairways, Shadow Creek seems a natural fit for Watson.

28. Matthew Fitzpatrick (+4500)

A regular contender on the European Tour, Fitzpatrick’s coming off a T-7 at last week’s BMW PGA Championship. He tied for sixth at the BMW Championship in the FedEx Cup Playoffs against similar competition and without a cut.

27. Justin Rose (+6600)

Five missed cuts in his last eight events but with a ninth-place finish at the PGA Championship mixed in. His iron play is well suited for the rolling elevation of Shadow Creek GC.

26. Scottie Scheffler (+4000)

Missed the cut last week in a moderate field at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open and is still looking for his form of the PGA Championship and FEC Playoffs after having to withdraw from the US Open due to a positive COVID-19 test.

25. Ian Poulter (+9000)

Coming off back-to-back top-6 finishes on the European Tour. He tied for 16th at last year’s CJ Cup in South Korea and typically plays his best in these stronger fields.

24. Alex Noren (+9000)

Tied for 18th at the 2018 CJ Cup @ Nine Bridges. Finished T-22 and T-17 at the PGA Championship and US Open, respectively, and will be competing against most of the same top names from each of those three events once again.

23. Si Woo Kim (+9000)

Finished T-8 at last week’s Shriners Hospitals for Children Open at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas. He was the fourth among those in last week’s field making the short trip over to Shadow Creek this week.

22. Sergio Garcia (+5500)

The winner of the Sanderson Farms Championship, Garcia followed it up with a T-43 last week against tougher competition. His putter and short game abandoned him last week, as he lost 0.51 strokes per round putting, according to Data Golf.

21. Jason Day (+6000)

Lost 1.58 strokes per round around the green last week en route to a missed cut. He ranked first on the PGA Tour in SG: Around-the-Green last season and will need to recapture that form with Shadow Creek’s troublesome run-off areas.

Looking to place a bet on the 2020 CJ Cup @ Shadow Creek? Place your legal, online bets in CO, IN, NJ and WV at BetMGM. Bet Now!

20. Abraham Ancer (+5000)

Coming off a fourth-place finish last week in which he ranked second in the field with 2.08 Strokes Gained: Putting per round. He’ll need to lean more heavily on an approach game that struggled last week.

19. Sungjae Im (+3300)

Averaged 0.63 SG: Tee-to-Green in the 2019-20 season. Ranked third in the field in that metric last week and led the field with 1.63 SG: Off-the-Tee per round while finishing T-13.

18. Paul Casey (+6000)

Was playing very well from a T-2 finish at the PGA Championship through the FEC Playoffs and a T-17 finish at the US Open before a missed cut last week. He tied for 18th in this event last year in South Korea.

17. Viktor Hovland (+3300)

Hasn’t played competitively since a T-13 finish at the US Open. Was one of the best in the world in SG: Approach and SG: Off-the-Tee on the 2019-20 season but will need to be better than usual around the greens at Shadow Creek.

16. Harris English (+4000)

His missed cut last week was his first since the Charles Schwab Challenge in mid-June. Hasn’t played in a no-cut WGC event since 2016 and has never played the CJ Cup in South Korea.

15. Daniel Berger (+3500)

Tied for 17th at the Zozo Championship but didn’t compete in the CJ Cup last year. His win at the Charles Schwab Challenge, T-2 result at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational and third-place finish at The Northern Trust all came against this week’s top competition.

14. Tony Finau (+3000)

Expected to make his return this week after withdrawing from the Shriners due to a positive COVID test. He was T-8 at the US Open and T-4 at the PGA Championship and should once again finish near the top of a stacked leaderboard.

13. Brooks Koepka (+3000)

Teeing it up for the first time since a missed cut at the Wyndham Championship after an extended break to recover from knee and hip injuries. Looking to reprove himself as one of the world’s best golfers late in a 2020 season that has seen him record just two top-10 results through 13 events.

12. Louis Oosthuizen (+4500)

Tied for 29th at the 2018 CJ Cup but didn’t play last year. His play around the greens left plenty to be desired last season but his putter can cover up a lot of his mistakes when in top form.

11. Tommy Fleetwood (+4000)

Tied for third at the European Tour’s Portugal Masters and was the runner-up at the Scottish Open on either side of a missed cut at the US Open. He tied for 13th last week in the BMW PGA Championship and will hope his elite form on the Euro circuit can follow him back to the USA this time.

10. Collin Morikawa (+2500)

The 2020 PGA Championship winner has struggled ever since his victory at TPC Harding Park. He missed the cut at both the US Open and the Shriners but his iron play and approach game are well-suited to a Shadow Creek course where ball positioning is key.

9. Hideki Matsuyama (+2500)

Matsuyama is a staple contender at no-cut events such as WGCs, and he finished third at last year’s CJ Cup. He was third at the BMW Championship in the FEC Playoffs with this week’s format and strength of fielding nearly mirroring that event.

8. Xander Schauffele (+1400)

Followed up a co-runner-up finish at the Tour Championship with a fifth-place result at the US Open and enters off a lengthy break. His play from tee to green will help him succeed on the rolling fairways.

7. Rory McIlroy (+1200)

Enters the week third in the Golfweek rankings but hasn’t won an event in 14 tries this calendar year. He has six top 10s, including a T-8 at the US Open, but he was just T-47 at the last WGC event.

6. Patrick Cantlay (+2500)

The native of Long Beach, California, typically plays well on the West Coast, and especially in Las Vegas. He finished T-8 last week with a disappointing fourth-round performance but gained 0.78 strokes per round around the green.

5. Tyrrell Hatton (+2800)

Won last week’s BMW PGA Championship in a stacked European Tour field. He’s 10th by the betting odds to win this week back in North America.

4. Matthew Wolff (+2200)

Wolff is sixth by the betting odds to win off of a T-2 finish at the Shriners where he ranked fifth in the field with 2.24 SG: Tee-to-Green per round. He ranks second on Tour with 2.65 strokes gained per round on the average Tour pro over his last 20 rounds.

3. Dustin Johnson (+900)

Leads the PGA Tour with 3.90 strokes gained per round on the average pro across his last 20 rounds. Tied for second at the PGA Championship and for sixth at the US Open, with a win at The Northern Trust and a runner-up finish at the BMW Championship.

2. Jon Rahm (+1000)

The top-ranked player in the Golfweek rankings finished just T-23 at the US Open but will benefit from the considerably wider fairways. Averaged 1.57 SG: Tee-to-Green per round last season.

1. Justin Thomas (+1100)

A two-time winner of this event when played in South Korea. His last victory was at the WGC FedEx St. Jude Invitational where he went 66-70-66-65 to finish at minus-13. He also fired three rounds of 66 en route to a co-runner-up finish at the Tour Championship.

7. Collin Morikawa (+2000)

The 2020 PGA Championship winner will tee it up for the first time since a missed cut at the US Open. He finished just 42nd in his debut last year.

The field sees a few big names return this week following the Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship but it’s a much weaker competition than we have regularly seen since the PGA Tour’s mid-June return.

29. Mackenzie Hughes (+15000)

Nearly four years removed from his only PGA Tour win to date, Hughes has soared from No. 264 to No. 56 in the OWGR entering the week. He was sixth on Tour in Strokes Gained: Around-the-Green in the 2019-20 season and has a great track record on more difficult courses.

28. Brendon Todd (+10000)

A two-time winner amid weaker fields in the PGA Tour’s fall swing last year, Todd proved he can compete in stronger contingents with a T-17 finish at the PGA Championship and T-8 at the BMW Championship. He’s a safe play who can stay out of trouble and have success with the winning score expected to be around even par.

27. Sungjae Im (+7000)

After winning The Honda Classic and finishing third at the Arnold Palmer Invitational before the season was suspended due to COVID-19, Im never truly regained form once play resumed. He missed the cut at the PGA Championship but rebounded for a T-9 at the Wyndham Championship the following week.

26. Harris English (+6600)

25. Paul Casey (+5000)

24. Tiger Woods (+4500)

A three-time winner of the US Open, it may be the toughest major for him to win again due to his repaired back. 23. Sergio Garcia (+12500)

Two of the 2017 Masters champ’s three top 10s in 2020 came on the Euro Tour, but he was T-5 in a strong field at the RBC Heritage. He’s averaging 1.68 SG: Tee-to-Green per round.

22. Abraham Ancer (+8000)

The 29-year-old will play in just his sixth major championship this week and has a top finish of T-16 in the 2019 PGA Championship thus far. He was 12th on Tour last season in Bogey Avoidance and can avoid damaging scores on tough courses.

21. Gary Woodland (+8000)

Last year’s US Open champ will have a difficult time defending his title on a very different and much tougher course. He averaged 1.79 SG: Putting per round in his win last year.

16. Patrick Reed (+3500)

The 2018 Masters champ followed that up with a fourth-place finish at the US Open at Shinnecock Hills. He tied for 13th at the PGA Championship and finished T-8 at the Tour Championship.

15. Patrick Cantlay (+2800)

Cantlay has had one of the lighter schedules of the top pros since the PGA Tour’s restart. He was eliminated from the FedEx Cup Playoffs with a T-12 finish at the BMW Championship but is still tied for ninth by the betting odds to win.

14. Justin Rose (+4000)

Missed the cut in four of his last six events but finished solo ninth at the PGA Championship. Form hasn’t been great, but he’s still one of the top irons players on Tour when at his best.

13. Adam Scott (+4000)

12. Tommy Fleetwood (+3500)

Fleetwood’s one of the few top-ranked golfers who teed it up last week. He secured a T-3 finish in the Euro Tour’s Portugal Masters. He tied for 65th last year at Pebble Beach but was the runner-up in much tougher conditions in 2018.

11. Jason Day (+4000)

Led the Tour last season in SG: Around-the-Green. The former world No. 1 had a resurgent stretch of four top-10 finishes from the Workday Charity Open through the PGA Championship.

Missed the cut at last year’s US Open but was fifth in 2018. Has six top-10 results in his last nine major appearances.

9. Bryson DeChambeau (+2200)

The PGA Tour’s leader in SG: Off-the-Tee last season, his added bulk and swing speed will help with the distance and ability to escape the rough required at the US Open. He tied for fourth at the PGA Championship in his first major since his transformation.

8. Xander Schauffele (+1600)

Comes off an excellent stretch run through the end of the 2019-20 season which ended with a T-2 at the Tour Championship. The US Open has been his best of the four majors with three straight top-10 finishes.

7. Collin Morikawa (+1800)

5. Webb Simpson (+2500)

2. Rory McIlroy (+1400)

McIlroy, the No. 2 player in the Golfweek rankings, previously admitted his impending fatherhood was a distraction amid struggles (by his standards) since the Tour’s restart. He got back on the right track by finishing T-7 by 72-hole score at the Tour Championship.

1. Dustin Johnson (+800)

Johnson enters the week atop the OWGR, fourth in the Golfweek rankings and first by the betting odds after his Tour Championship and FedEx Cup wins. The 23-time PGA Tour winner hasn’t won a major since the 2016 US Open, but he was second or T-2 in three of his last five attempts.
