Caruso, 27, plans to stick. That’s why even though he talks like a coach and often is described as “a coach on the floor,” Caruso recoils at questions about a possible coaching future. “Yeah, hopefully, this is down the road many years,” he joked Friday. “I don’t know, maybe. My love for the game and passion for the game — I’m fortunate to be able to play basketball because that is my passion and the thing I love most in life, care about, can concentrate on. “Anything basketball-related, I’m interested in. So we’ll see. I know there’s a lot more that goes into being a coach than just showing up, putting on a nice shirt and sitting on the sidelines during games and calling plays, making adjustments. When that time comes, we’ll think about it. I won’t ever say no to anything just because I love the game so much. But like we said, many years down the road.”
