Carson Wentz was once a dual-threat quarterback at North Dakota State and with the Eagles starting Jalen Hurts on Sunday, the new backup quarterback had the chance to run around some this week.
John Clark of NBC Sports is reporting that Wentz played the role of Saints dual-threat quarterback Taysom Hill, for the Eagles defense.

“He’s done a great job in helping Jalen,” Pederson said. “He’s been involved in meetings, just what I expected.”
Wentz has started all 68 games of his NFL career and Sunday will be the first time he’s forced to come off the bench.
