The Carolina Panthers will meet the New England Patriots in Week 2 of the NFL Preseason on Friday night at Gillette Stadium.
The Panthers are coming off a 23-21 win over Washington in week one of the preseason as Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold continue to battle it out for the starting role. In a bizarre move, Matt Rhule will not play either QB tonight. Meanwhile, the Patriots will be starting the majority of their starters including Mac Jones as they look to bounce back after a 23-21 loss to the Giants last week.
