Carlos Dunlap again named AFC Defensive Player of the Week

Carlos Dunlap is yet again the AFC Defensive Player of the Week.

Carlos Dunlap has done it again.

The star Cincinnati Bengals defensive end is the Defensive Player of the Week coming out of his 2.5-sack performance in Week 17 during a win over the Cleveland Browns.

Dunlap last won the award earlier this month after a win over the New York Jets featured three sacks and eight pressures.

Another strong performance during Dunlap’s epic late-season push lands him at nine sacks on the season over just 13 games, his highest total since 2015 and cements what might be argued as his best season as a pro.

Dunlap, 30, remains central to the plan in Cincinnati heading into another offseason of what is sure to be dramatic change.
