Multiple players across the NBA have taken action all over the country in response to the death of George Floyd. Members of the Brooklyn Nets have been no exception.
In addition to Kevin Durant speaking about police brutality, his businesses — Thiry Five Ventures, The Boardroom and the Kevin Durant Charity Foundation — are “making a donation to the NAACP and Center for Policing Equity in honor of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and all those who’ve lost their lives or suffered injustice at the hands of the police.”
Kyrie Irving has been seen peacefully protesting, with the guard sharing on Instagram Live some of what he recently experienced.
Now, Caris LeVert has become the latest Nets player to be seen peacefully protesting. Roc Nation Sports shared two photos of the Brooklyn guard taking part in the protests in Los Angeles alongside former Michigan teammate and current Milwaukee Bucks forward D.J. Wilson.
In one of the images, LeVert is displaying a sign that reads, “Stop Police Brutality.”
