Caris LeVert receives NBA All-Seeding Games honor, Jacque Vaughn just misses

The NBA is handing out awards and honors to the players inside the Disney bubble.

The NBA decided to give out awards to players who performed exceptionally inside the Disney bubble and announced the honorees on Saturday — and one member of the Brooklyn Nets received recognition.

Caris LeVert was named to the NBA All-Seeding Games second team.

LeVert played in six bubble games, averaging 25 points per game on 48% shooting (25.8% from 3-point territory). He also averaged 6.7 assists, five rebounds and 1.5 steals per game.

Jacque Vaughn was nearly named NBA Coach of the Seeding Games. He finished third to Portland’s Terry Stotts and the winner, Phoenix’s Monty Williams.

LeVert was joined on the second team by Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers, Michael Porter Jr. of the Denver Nuggets and Kristaps Porzingis of the Dallas Mavericks.

Damian Lillard was named NBA Player of the Seeding Games and made first-team NBA All-Seeding Games. The Blazers guard was joined by Phoenix’s Devin Booker, Dallas’ Luka Dončić, James Harden of the Houston Rockets and T.J. Warren of the Indiana Pacers.
