After making his long-awaited return from thumb surgery, Caris LeVert will be unavailable for the Brooklyn Nets on Monday against the Orlando Magic.
The Nets have ruled LeVert out due to injury management of his right thumb.
In addition to LeVert, DeAndre Jordan was added to the team’s injury report. He’s dealing with a right knee contusion but is still probable to play.
Along with Kyrie Irving (right shoulder impingement) and Kevin Durant (right Achilles rehab), the Nets’ newly acquired guard, Chris Chiozza, will not be available for Brooklyn on Monday.
Nic Claxton (left hamstring soreness) is still on the injury report, but he’s the only Nets player to receive a status upgrade. The team has deemed him probable for Monday’s game. The Nets rookie has been out since early December.
Lastly, with regard to LeVert, the shooting guard is expected to play on Tuesday in the second half of Brooklyn’s back-to-back, per Malika Andrews of ESPN.
