The Arizona Cardinals and New Orleans Saints will play their preseason finale on Saturday. However, it will be earlier than originally scheduled.
The game was originally scheduled for 8 p.m. ET (7 p.m. in New Orleans) or 5 p.m. Arizona time.
Because Tropical Storm Ida is on its way to the gulf coast, the game has been moved up.
Kickoff will now be noon New Orleans time and 10 a.m. Arizona time.
Some might question the worth of holding the game altogether, but there is a lot of money tied up in games. There are a number of players on both teams who could use the playing time to show that they are worthy of making the final roster of their respective team or attract interest from other teams.
So, Cardinals fans, make morning plans to watch the game. Those morning tasks and chores you were planning on can now be done in the afternoon or evening.
