The Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers play each other for the first time since 2015 on Sunday. It is a battle between two rookie quarterbacks — No. 1 overall pick Kyler Murray for the Cardinals and undrafted rookie QB Devlin “Duck” Hodges for the Steelers.
Hodges is 2-0 as a starter and has done enough to get wins and keep the Steelers in the playoff race in the AFC.
What numbers matter in this game? Hodges will play against the last-ranked passing defense in terms of yards, passer rating and completion percentage. However, he will not have JuJu Smith-Schuster.
The Steelers defense had five sacks against the Cleveland Browns last week. The Cardinals allowed six sacks to the L.A. Rams.
Murray has taken care of the ball but the Steelers are No. 2 in interceptions and No. in forced turnovers.
