Cardinals vs. Rams injury report: Latest updates, news for Week 17

All the latest updates and news on the Cardinals’ injury report ahead of a Week 17 game vs. the Rams

The Arizona Cardinals, 7-8 and out of playoff contention, face the 9-6 Los Angeles Rams in Week 17 in a Saturday night game that will be nationally televised on NFL Network.

The Cardinals are banged up and will have two backups starting at tackle as both left tackle Paris Johnson and right tackle Jonah Williams are on injured reserve with knee injuries. That means Kelvin Beachum gets the start on the left side and Jackson Barton will start for the second time this season on the right side.

Running back James Conner is questionable for the game but expected to play.

Let’s have a look at the injury reports for both teams as we get ready for the game.

James Conner injury update

Conner suffered a knee injury last week in the third quarter and was not able to finish the game. He was limited all week in practice but, per multiple reports, is expected to start and play against the Rams.

Trey Benson injury update

Benson suffered an ankle in Week 15 and missed the game last week. He was also limited all week, but his status is more up in the air. Head coach Jonathan Gannon said he could be a game-day decision. Michael Carter would be elevated from the practice squad and replace him in the lineup if he can’t go.
