Cardinals to play 9 games vs. 6 of 8 top interior pass rushers

The Cardinals’ interior offensive line will be tested early and often in 2024 in protecting Kyler Murray.

The Arizona Cardinals have made improvements on both offense and defense. Their interior offensive line will be tested in the 2024 season. Will Hernandez at right guard, Hjalte Froholdt at center and perhaps Evan Brown at left guard will need to protect quarterback Kyler Murray from some of the best interior pass rushers in the NFL.

The Cardinals will play nine games against six of the league’s top eight interior rushers, according to Doug Farrar and Greg Cosell for Touchdown Wire.

The Cardinals face Hargrave and the 49ers twice. In Week 5, they will play them in Santa Clara and then close the regular season at home against them.

Turner had nine sacks as a rookie. The Cardinals face him and the Rams at home in Week 2 and then on the road in Week 17.

Sieler had 10 sacks in 2023. The Cardinals play the Dolphins on the road in Week 8.

The Cardinals host McNeill and the Lions in Week 3. He had five sacks in 2023.

The Cardinals open the season with a challenge. They are on the road against the Bills and Oliver, who had 9.5 sacks in 2023.

Reed, returning to Seattle in 2023 after two seasons away from them, had seven sacks in 2023. The Cardinals face them on the road in Week 12 and at home in Week 14.
