Cardinals to face reigning NFC Offensive Player of the Week

Commanders QB Jayden Daniels earned NFC Offensive Player of the Week.

The Arizona Cardinals have had two opposing players this season earn conference player of the week honors after playing well against them. This week, they will face the reigning NFC Offensive Player of the Week.

The Cardinals host the Washington Commanders this Sunday in Week 4 and their starting quarterback, rookie Jayden Daniels, won NFC Offensive Player of the Week after he led the Commanders to a 38-33 Monday night win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Daniels completed 21-of-23 passes for 254 yards and two touchdowns, the first two touchdown passes of his career. He finished with a passer rating of 141.7.

He also led the Commanders with 39 rushing yards and added a rushing touchdown.

the Commanders have won two straight games and have neither punted nor turned the ball over in those games. In 15 possessions, they have four touchdowns, eight field goals and three kneeldowns to end halves or games.

The two teams kick off at State Farm Stadium Sunday at 1:05 p.m. Arizona time.
