Cardinals to face reigning AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Texans running back Devin Singletary was offensive player of the week in the AFC after rushing for 150 yards and a touchdown last week.

The Arizona Cardinals are preparing to face the Houston Texans on the road this weekend in Week 11. While Houston is dealing with a ton of injuries (check out their first injury report of the week), they have depth at some positions.

The Cardinals will face the reigning AFC Offensive Player of the Week. The league announced Wednesday that Texans running back Devin Singletary earned weekly honors.

Singletary rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown on a whopping 30 carries and caught one pass for 11 yards in a 30-27 last-second win by the Texans over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Singletary, the backup to Dameon Pierce, nearly doubled his year’s rushing total with the performance. He entered the game with 209 rushing yards in eight games.

Pierce has missed the last two games and began the week unable to practice with an ankle injury.
