The Arizona Cardinals’ next opponent in Week 8 are the Baltimore Ravens, led by quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Jackson, one of the most talented quarterbacks in the league, is coming off easily his best game of the season.
On Sunday, the Ravens demolished the Detroit Lions 38-6, piling up more than 500 yards of offense.
That was highlighted by Jackson’s play.
He finished with 357 passing yards and three touchdown passes, both season highs in 2023. He also added a rushing touchdown.
It was Jackson’s first 300-yard game and first three-TD pass game of the season.
The Cardinals will have no shot at all of beating the Ravens if they allow Jackson to play like that on Sunday.
In his one career game against the Cardinals in 2019, he completed 24-of-37 passes for 272 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 120 yards.
