The Arizona Cardinals have added a quarterback to their team. According to Arizona Sports 98.7 FM’s John Gambadoro, they are signing Anthony Brown to the practice squad.
Brown has bounced around in the NFL since entering the league in 2022 as an undrafted rookie out of Oregon and Boston College.
He began with the Baltimore Ravens, where he played in two games and even started one in 2022. He completed 44.9% of his passes for 302 yards and two interceptions.
Since then, he has spent time with the Las Vegas Raiders and Buffalo Bills.
He is 6-foot-1 and 222 pounds.
According to Cards Wire’s Howard Balzer, Brown was one of there quarterbacks the Cardinals brought in on Tuesday for tryouts.
With Brown and backup quarterback Clayton Tune as the two quarterbacks on the team behind starter Kyler Murray, the Cardinals lack experience should anything happen to Murray.
Between Tune and Brown, they have 80 total passing attempts in the NFL, no touchdown passes and four interceptions in 170 total snaps of play.
