The Arizona Cardinals made a few roster moves on Saturday, ahead of their Week 2 home opener against the New York Giants.
With defensive lineman L.J. Collier landing on injured reserve with a biceps injury, the Cardinals filled the vacancy by signing safety Andre Chachere off the practice squad to the active roster.
Chachere was elevated to play in the season opener last week.
His addition to the roster gives an extra body at safety, which might be needed as Budda Baker is questionable for the game with a hamstring injury.
The Cardinals also elevated two to the roster from the practice squad to be available Sunday. They elevated defensive lineman Eric Banks and undrafted rookie cornerback Quavian White.
Banks will likely get playing time with Collier out for at least a month.
White will likely get work on special teams.
