Cardinals select Utah DL Leki Fotu with forst of 2 4th-round picks

The 6-5, 330-pounder should make an impact on the Cardinals run defense fairly immediately.

The Arizona Cardinals have made the first of their two fourth-round picks. With the 114th pick in the draft, they add big help on the defensive line. They selected Utah defensive lineman Leki Fotu.

Fotu is big and quick. He is a massive 6-foot-5 and 330 pounds but has quick feet. He ran the 40 at the combine in 5.15 seconds.

He only had four career sacks for the Utes but had 17 tackles for loss.

He was used mainly as an anchor in the run game, and Utah’s run defense was tremendous.

He projects as a nose tackle in the NFL and will likely be what he was in college — a solid run stuffer. He is big and strong and should be able to contribute at least as a rotational player in 2020.
