Cardinals seeking only third-ever home win over Russell Wilson

The Cardinals have beaten the Seahawks at home in consecutive seasons since 2011-2012. Wilson is 6-2-1 At State Farm Stadium against Arizona.

The Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks have had an odd rivalry over the years. No other team in the NFL has has the success the Cardinals have had in Seattle. However, the Seahawks have more or less been absolute money in Arizona.

The Cardinals and Seahawks meet this Sunday afternoon at State Farm Stadium and Arizona has the opportunity to do something it has not done since the start of Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson’s career began — beat them in consecutive home games.

Since Wilson entered the league in 2012, the Cardinals have only beaten the Seahawks at home twice. The first time was Wilson’s debut in Week 1 2012. The last time was the Cardinals’ 37-34 overtime win last year.

They have not beaten the Seahawks at home in consecutive seasons since they won in the 2011 finale and then Wilson’s debut in 2012.

Wilson is 6-2-1 at State Farm Stadium.

This weekend, of course, could end up being Wilson’s final game with the Seahawks, depending on how things play out.

It would be fitting for the Cardinals to end Wilson’s Seattle career the way it started, with a loss in Arizona.
