Cardinals’ run game to be key vs. Patriots

The Patriots have allowed more than 130 rushing yards in four of their six losses and the Cardinals are 3-1 when they rushed for 130 or more.

The Arizona Cardinals have had their fair share of offensive struggles this season. When they are at their best, they run the ball well. James Conner gets going and the threat of Kyler Murray’s running along with his actual running help the offense go.

Running the ball well against the New England Patriots this week on Monday night will be key.

The Patriots have allowed over 130 rushing yards in four of their six losses.

The Cardinals are 3-1 when they rush for more than 130. The only loss was  the 25-24 loss they suffered two weeks ago.

James Conner rushed for 125 yards in the loss. The offense looked good for three quarters and they should have won the game.

The Patriots struggled with Bears quarterback Justin Fields and his mobility. He rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots’ loss to the Bears.

If Conner can find positive yards and Murray is able to wreak even a little havoc, the Cardinals will be in position to pick up a win.
