Cardinals release long snapper Beau Brinkley, make other roster moves

Brinkley played three games in place of Aaron Brewer while he was on injured reserve.

The Arizona Cardinals made some roster moves on Tuesday. After they activated long snapper Aaron Brewer from injured reserve and he played on Monday against the Los Angeles Rams, the team released Beau Brinkley, who had replaced Brewer.

It wasn’t the only roster move they made.

Linebacker Joe Walker, who had been elevated to the active roster last week as a COVID-19 replacement, reverted to the practice squad and, to make for him, they released linebacker Nate Hall.
