Cardinals release 1st injury report of Week 7

Check out who is hurt to start the week.

The Arizona Cardinals did not hold a regular practice on Wednesday to kick off the week. They play the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday but had a game on Monday night, so they have a short week and therefore decided to have a walkthrough for the first day of practice.

As a result, the Cardinals’ first injury report of the week was only an approximation of the practice reps some players would have had.

According to their estimations, three players would have missed practice and another two would have been limited.

Who would have sat out completely? Starting right tackle Kelvin Beachum was listed as a DNP with an ankle injury, as was receiver DeAndre Hopkins. Defensive lineman Jordan Phillips was also listed with a foot injury.

Linebackers Kylie Fitts and Dennis Gardeck would have been limited. Fitts has a hamstring injury that kept him out of the game Monday night and Gardeck has a foot injury that limited him in practice last week.

Safety Budda Baker (thumb) and linebacker Jordan Hicks (wrist) were both listed as full participants.

Did not participate:

  • OL Kelvin Beachum (ankle)
  • WR DeAndre Hopkins (ankle)
  • DL Jordan Phillips (foot)

Limited:

  • LB Kylie Fitts (hamstring)
  • LB Dennis Gardeck (foot)

Full:

  • S Budda Baker (thumb)
  • LB Jordan Hicks (wrist)
