Cardinals must trim roster again by Tuesday

NFL teams must cut their rosters down to 80 players by Tuesday afternoon.

The Arizona Cardinals had the last game of the second week of the preseason Sunday night and now must make a few decisions. They, along with the rest of the teams in the NFL, must make five more moves and trim the rosters down from 85 players to 80 players by Tuesday afternoon.

The Cardinals announced their first five cuts last week on Sunday, two days before the deadline, as they played their preseason opener on Friday.

These next cuts will largely be determined by health at each position, as the Cardinals still have one preseason game left and will not play their starters.

The final roster cutdown will come next Tuesday when teams must get their rosters down to 53 players.
