Cardinals missed out on claiming 7th player, 4th O-lineman

The Cardinals also had a waiver claim in on former Bills rookie Nick Broeker. The Texans were awarded him.

The Arizona Cardinals were active on the waiver wire after final cuts. They were awarded six players off waivers including three offensive linemen.

If the Cardinals had their way, it would have been at least seven players and four linemen.

According to ESPN’s Field Yates, they also tried to claim offensive lineman Nick Broeker.

Broeker was awarded to the Houston Texans, who have the No. 2 priority in the league, just ahead of Arizona.

Broeker was a seventh-round pick of the Buffalo Bills who could not make the team.

In addition to the Texans and Cardinals, the New York Giants also tried to claim him.

He was one of only two players in the league to have more than two teams attempt to claim them.
