Cardinals’ Kelvin Beachum, Marco Wilson day-to-day with injuries

Kliff Kingsbury said Monday their injuries are “not too bad” and suggested both have a chance of playing on Sunday.

The Arizona Cardinals had two injuries that we know of in their 34-33 Week 2 win over the Minnesota Vikings. Rookie cornerback Marco Wilson exited the game in the first half with a ankle injury and right tackle Kelvin Beachum played the first half but did not return in the second half.

Beachum, who was questionable for the game with a rib injury he sustained in Week 1, presumably reaggravated the rib injury. Justin Murray finished the game for the second week in a row at right tackle.

Head coach Kliff Kingsbury was asked about both Wilson and Beachum on Sunday after the game and then on Monday when he spoke with reporters.

After the game, he didn’t have any information at all, saying he had to find out.

On Monday he said both injuries aren’t serious.

“Both of those guys will be day-to-day,” he said. “We’ll see how they progress through the week and see where they’re at on Sunday.”

The Cardinals will have their first practice on Wednesday and release their first injury report of the week then.
