Cardinals inactives: WR Michael Wilson out vs. 49ers

Wilson’s hamstring injury kept him from playing in the season finale against the 49ers.

The Arizona Cardinals did not have second-year receiver Michael Wilson. After suffering a hamstring injury Friday, making him questionable for the season finale against the San Francisco 49ers, he was among the team’s inactive players.

Also inactive is linebacker Victor Dimukeje, who was added to the injury report on Saturday with an eye injury.

Here are the players who would not dress for Arizona against the 49ers.

Cardinals Week 18 inactive list

  • WR Michael Wilson
  • S Jammie Robinson
  • LB Vi Jones
  • LB Benton Whitley
  • LB Victor Dimukeje
  • OL Luke Tenuta
  • Travis Vokolek

Aside from the injuries to Wilson and Dimukeje, there were no real surprises to this listed except for Tenuta, elevated from the practice squad on Saturday.

With Kelvin Beachum and rookie Christian Jones set to start at tackle, Tenuta figured to be the backup swing tackle. The Cardinals’ active reserve linemen were Trystan Colon, Jon Gaines and Nick Leverett.

Rookie receiver Xavier Weaver was active for the second time this season.

With Wilson out, Zay Jones was expected to have a greater role offensively.
