Cardinals inactives: Chase Edmonds, Larry Fitzgerald active; Maxx Williams inactive

The Cardinals will have all their offensive starters except for Williams against the 49ers.

The Arizona Cardinals have announced their list of inactive players for their Week 16 game this afternoon against the San Francisco 49ers. With 10 players listed on the final injury report as questionable for the game, there were concerns that a few offensive starters would not be able to play.

However, only one of their offensive starters will sit this game. Running back Chase Edmonds, receiver Larry Fitzgerald and guard Justin Pugh are all active and are expected to play.

Tight end Maxx Williams, who missed practice all week with an ankle injury he reaggravated last week, is inactive and will not play.

Here is the full list:

  • QB Brett Hundley
  • RB Eno Benjamin
  • Jalen Thompson
  • WR Andy Isabella
  • OL Josh Miles

Isabella is inactive for the third game in a row. Thompson, who has been out with an ankle injury for the second time this year, was limited in practice all week but will not play. Chris Banjo will be in the starting lineup.

With Williams out, it means an increased role for Darrell Daniels and playing time for Seth DeValve, who was signed to the active roster on Friday.
