The Arizona Cardinals appear to have only one starting job up for grabs on the offensive line. D.J. Humphries will man left tackle. Justin Pugh lines up at left guard. Rodney Hudson, acquired this offseason in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders, replaces Mason Cole at center and Kelvin Beachum will start at right tackle again.
However, right guard is wide open.
“There’s a lot of guys vying for that spot, and that’s what we want,” head coach Kliff Kingsbury said after practice on Tuesday.
Just how many are in the mix?
Kingsbury named four players — Brian Winters, Justin Murray, Josh Jones and Max Garcia.
Based on photos of minicamp, it would appear that Winters at least is rotating with the first team. Murray, of course, started seven games at right guard in 2020.
Minicamp wraps up on Thursday and the Cardinals will break till training camp, which is expected to begin July 27.
