Cardinals have private workout scheduled with Boise State OT Ezra Cleveland

The Boise State tackle put on a show at the NFL combine.

The Arizona Cardinals have interest in an athletic tackle prospect. Boise State’s Ezra Cleveland had one of the best offensive lineman performances at the NFL combine and the Cardinals took notice.

According to Draft Wire’s Justin Melo, the Cardinals are one of several teams lined to have a private workout with Cleveland.

He has NFL size at 6-6 and 311 pounds. He ran the 40 in 4.93 seconds, put up 30 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press, had a 30-inch vertical leap and a three-cone of 7.26 seconds.

He could be in play for the Cardinals with their second-round pick if he is still on the board.

Of course, those private workouts could be up in the air, as worries increase over the coronavirus. The NFL has reported canceled formal prospect visits to team facilities.

Whether or not that happens, it is clear the Cardinals have interest in Cleveland.
