Cardinals have one of toughest schedules in NFL in 2020

They are tied for eighth in the league in opponent 2019 win/loss record.

The Arizona Cardinals will play a fourth-place schedule in 2020 but it is one of the toughest in the NFL. Ranking all 32 teams in terms of strength of schedule, the Cardinals are tied for the eighth-toughest schedule.

Of course, that reflects the fact they play in the NFC West, where the 49ers, Seahawks and Rams all had winning records in 2019.

The Cardinals’ 2020 opponents have a combined record of 132-123-1.

They will face five playoffs teams from last season in seven games, as they play the 49ers and Seahawks twice.

They also play five teams who had losing records in 2019.

The teams whose 2020 schedule is at least as tough as the Cardinals are the Houston Texans, Buffalo Bills, Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets and New England Patriots.
