The Arizona Cardinals suffered a 37-14 home blowout loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday and looked bad in all phases of the game. Afte two weeks of rising in weekly NFL power rankings, they fell back entering Week 13.
Jarrett Bailey’s new Week 13 NFL power rankings for Touchdown Wire have the Cardinals falling two spots to No. 26 overall.
I really have no idea what the future holds for Arizona. Is Kyler Murray going to be there next year, or will the Cardinals start a rebuild of their own?
Murray didn’t play well against the Rams, but it probably would not have mattered with how badly the defense played.
Three of Arizona’s four best defensive linemen are on injured reserve, their best linebacker is on IR and they started three rookie cornerbacks on Sunday.
However, the Cardinals are already in a rebuild. The question is whether or not they blow up the quarterback position or not after this season.
It seems unlikely but if Murray and the offense keep looking like they did against the Rams, it must be a consideration.
