Cardinals fall 2 games behind final playoff spot

The Cardinals, now 4-7, are two wins behind the Seahawks, who are the No. 7 seed in the NFC right now.

The Arizona Cardinals lost their game on Monday night 38-10 to the San Francisco 49ers, pushing them back in the NFC playoff race. They are now 4-7 and 12th in the conference.

They are one of the three teams that are 4-7, the others being the Packers and the Saints.

The Seattle Seahawks are the No. 7 seed currently, sitting at 6-4.

The Washington Commanders are next at 6-5, followed by the 5-6 Falcons and 4-6 Lions.

The Packers are ahead of the Cardinals in 11th place with a better conference record, but the Cardinals hold a head-to-head tiebreaker over the Saints.

What will be difficult to do will be to overtake the Seahawks if they maintain the No. 7 seed. As Seattle beat the Cardinals twice this season, they hold a head-to-head tiebreaker, so if the Cardinals want to get ahead of the Seahawks, they must finish with a better record.
