Cardinals elevate S Chris Banjo, CB Antonio Hamilton from practice squad

Both defensive backs will likely have a role on special teams against the Vikings.

The Arizona Cardinals made a pair of roster moves on Saturday, elevating a pair of defensive backs from the practice squad to the active roster.

They elected to elevate veteran safety Chris Banjo as a COVID-19 replacement, as receiver Antoine Wesley is still on the COVID reserve. It would appear he will have a role on special teams.

They also elevated cornerback Antonio Hamilton as a standard elevation. He was elevated to the roster in Week 1 as a COVID replacement and played special teams. He was one of the two punt gunners in Week 1.

Both will likely be active for the game.
