Cardinals drop another spot in new power rankings after loss

The Cardinals fell from No. 29 to No. 30 after their loss to the Seahawks on Sunday.

The Arizona Cardinals have lost four games in a row and now find themselves a little lower in the Week 8 NFL power rankings from Touchdown Wire’s Jarrett Bailey.

The Cardinals, following their loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 6, fell to No. 29. With a 20-10 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on the road in Week 7, they dropped another spot to No. 30. ahead of only the New York Giants and Carolina Panthers.

As I’ve said every week, credit to the Passtronaut Josh Dobbs and the entire crew for giving their opponents absolute hell for three hours every week- they just don’t have the juice to pull off many wins.

Dobbs told reporters what head coach Jonathan Gannon said to the team. They fought hard but they didn’t fight well enough.

The Cardinals are that scrappy team that will mix it up with anyone and won’t back down, but at the end of the day will still get knocked out. The issue isn’t effort. The issue is playing better.

Next up on the schedule are the Baltimore Ravens.
