Cardinals cut CB Darren Hall, who lands with Colts; make practice squad move

Hall gets claimed by the Colts after he was waived to make room for Baron Browning.

The Arizona Cardinals had to accommodate the addition of linebacker Baron Browning on the active roster, as he was acquired from the Denver Broncos via trade on Monday.

To do so, they cut defensive back Darren Hall, the team announced on Tuesday.

They also announced that receiver Chris Moore, last week’s honoree for practice player of the week who got to wear the Pat Tillman practice jersey, was cut from the practice squad.

If the move was to re-sign Hall to the practice squad, that move did not work out. According to the league transaction report, Hall was claimed off waivers by the Indianapolis Colts, the team whose practice squad he was on last year.

We will have to see on Wednesday if the Cardinals end up re-signing Moore to the practice squad after losing Hall.
