Cardinals are big underdogs on road vs. Seahawks

The Seahawks won outright, covered the spread and the game hit the under in the last meeting between the two teams.

The Arizona Cardinals are used to being underdogs this season. They have begun every single game week this season as an underdog, at least terms of betting lines and point spreads. Only once did they end the week as favorites — in Week 3 when Carolina Panthers Cam Newton got hurt and Kyle Allen was announced the starter.

This week is no different as the Cardinals are set to take on the NFC West-leading Seattle Seahawks on the road.

According to BetMGM, the Seahawks are favored to win at home by 9.5 points. The Cardinals are 8-5-1 against the spread this season. Seattle is 7-6-1 against the spread.

Betting just the moneyline means little profit when going with the Seahawks. At -455, you only win $2.20 for every $10 wagered. The Cardinals can give a big payout. An outright win at +350 would win $35 for every $10 wagered.

Oddsmakers expect a high-scoring game. The over/under is set at 50.5 points. Games with the Cardinals and also with the Seahawks have hit the over eight times this season.

When the two teams played earlier this season, the Seahawks won outright, covered the spread and the point total went under.
