Cardinals announce final cuts, getting roster to 53 players

They cut 15 players, place one on the retired list and waive one player with an injury.

The Arizona Cardinals announced the roster moves they needed to make to cut down their roster down to the required 53 players.

After announcing 10 cuts on Monday, they removed another 17 from the roster.

One move was to move cornerback Malcolm Butler to the retired reserve.

They waived offensive lineman Marcus Henry with an injury designation, meaning if he clears waivers, he will revert to injured reserve.

They released 15 other players, some of whom have been previously reported.

  • WR Andre Baccellia
