Cardinals’ 2019 draft class only has Kyler Murray left

The Cardinals drafted 11 players in 2019. Only Kyler Murray is still on the roster.

The Arizona Cardinals selected 11 players in the 2019 NFL draft, a class that many were quite excited about.

Now in 2023, only quarterback Kyler Murray remains from that group.

Murray is signed long-term but the rest have either moved on or been let go.

What has happened with the 2019 draft class?

  • Round 1: QB Kyler Murray – signed long-term contract
  • Round 2: CB Byron Murphy – left to Vikings in free agency
  • Round 2: WR Andy Isabella – released in 2022
  • Round 3: DL Zach Allen – left to Broncos in free agency
  • Round 4: WR Hakeem Butler – cut before 2020 season
  • Round 5: S Deionte Thompson – released during 2022 season
  • Round 6: WR KeeSean Johnson – cut before 2021 season
  • Round 6: OL Lamont Gaillard – cut before 2021 season
  • Round 7: OL Josh Miles – free agent
  • Round 7: DL Michael Dogbe – released and re-signed many times, is free agent
  • Round 7: TE Caleb Wilson – cut before 2019 season

Technically Miles and Dogbe have a chance at returning, but if they don’t, four years after 11 players were drafted, only one will still wear a Cardinals uniform.
