Cardinals’ 1st half vs. Giants surpasses Week 1 offensive performance

The Cardinals had 210 yards and 13 first downs in their game in Week 1. In the first half against the Giants, they had 246 yards and 16 first downs.

The Arizona Cardinals were plain bad offensively in Week 1. In Week 2 against the New York Giants, their first half was better than what they did the entire previous game.

The Cardinals lost 20-16 to the Washington Commanders and their only touchdown was a defensive score.

They scored nine points, had 13 first downs and only 210 total yards.

Quarterback Josh Dobbs was 21-for-30 passing for 130 yards.

In the first half against the Giants, the Cardinals led 20-0. All came from the offense, scoring two touchdowns.

They had 241 yards and 16 first downs. Dobbs was 12-for-16 passing for 146 yards.

It did come against a Giants team that had been outscored 60-0 through six quarters of the 2023 season.
