The defending gold medalists have one last match before kicking off the 2024 Olympics

The Canada women’s national team will face Mexico on Tuesday night in the final Olympic tune-up for the defending gold medalists.

These two teams met on Saturday, with Adriana Leon and Cloe Lacasse scoring the goals in a 2-0 win for Canada.

Now the scene shifts from Montreal to Toronto, where Canada will play one more match before heading to France next month for the Olympics.

The defending champions begin their Olympic campaign on July 25 against New Zealand. The Mexican women’s team has only qualified for the Olympics once, back in 2004.
