Can rookie phenom Victor Wembanyama become the San Antonio Spurs greatest-ever player by the end of his career? For most ball clubs in the NBA, that is a very hard question to answer. For the Spurs, it’s almost impossible to say given San Antonio has rostered Hall of Famers like David Robinson, Tim Duncan, and Manu Ginobili as well as future Hall of Famer Kawhi Leonard.

Each of those players (and perhaps others) have a claim to such an honor, and Wemby has just started to cut his teeth at the NBA level, but oh — what big teeth they already are!

On a recent episode, host of the “Locked On Spurs” podcast Jeff Garcia took some time to talk us through what such a question actually implies — and of course he gives his answer to this particularly interesting inquiry.

Take a look at the clip embedded above to hear what he had to say about Wemby’s future place in the Spurs pantheon.
