Baltimore (MD) St. Frances Academy is what you’d call a high school powerhouse.

The program is so good under former Michigan assistant Biff Poggi that it’s without a league and is begging other powers across the country to play anywhere, anytime. And the Wolverines pilfered and plundered the prestigious program recently, having reeled in three prospects from St. Frances Academy this past recruiting cycle in RB Blake Corum and LBs Nikhai Hill-Green and Osman Savage.

Hey, what’s one more?

The Wolverines have been targeting four-star linebacker Aaron Willis for some time now, and it’s seemed to have paid off, as Willis released a Top 7 with Michigan making the cut.

There’s certainly some fierce competition in there, with LSU, Alabama, Texas, Tennessee, Maryland and Arizona State also under consideration.

Willis is rated the nation’s No. 110 player regardless of position in 2021, according to the 247Sports Composite. He’s also the No. 9 outside linebacker and fourth-best player in the state of Maryland.

So, might Willis rejoin his linebacker teammates in maize and blue? Assuredly, having them in Ann Arbor won’t hurt a bit.

Willis visited Michigan last year when the St. Frances Academy contingent came unofficially for the Maryland basketball game.
