When it comes to the Boston Celtics and whether their star All-NBA forward Jayson Tatum can lead them to a championship now or in future seasons, there are still some holdouts who wonder whether the St. Louis native will ever elevate his game to such lofty heights.
But the host of the eponymous Volume “Hoops Tonight with Jason Timpf” podcast believes that Tatum has the potential to be a championship-level player for Boston soon if not this current season, and suggests that the Celtics’ front office and fans should be patient with his development given how far he has come as a player — and how much more his game could grow.
Speaking on the Celtics as part of a mailbag episode, there’s plenty more of interest as well, but even if you only want the Tatum analysis, check out the clip embedded below to hear his take in full.
