The Arizona Cardinals now have all eight of their 2022 draft picks under contract. The team announced the signing of linebacker Cameron Thomas, their first player selection in the third round.
He was the 87th pick in the draft.
His contract is a four-year deal.
Thomas played collegiately at San Diego State. The 6-4, 267-pound edge defender had 11.5 sacks last season and 20.5 tackles for loss. Per Pro Football Focus, Thomas led all defenders at FBS schools with 77 total quarterback pressures.
The Cardinals signed three of their Day 3 selections — running back Keaontay Ingram, offensive lineman Lecitus Smith and linebacker Jesse Luketa — first. Then, tight end Trey McBride, offensive lineman Marquis Hayes and cornerback Christian Matthew followed. Linebacker Myjai Sanders signed last week and, with Thomas’ signing Wednesday, the entire draft class is under contract before the end of May.
