Camden Yards’ new left-field wall looks as bad as the Orioles’ rotation

This looks weird.

Was this really necessary?

In the 2022 MLB offseason, the Baltimore Orioles’ brass decided it would be a good idea to renovate classic Camden Yards, specifically its left-field wall.

The franchise moved the wall back a bunch and increased the height, making home runs from the left side of the plate harder to hit at a notoriously hitter-friendly park. Perhaps that would help a team that’s struggled year to year to find the pitching necessary to keep up with their much better AL East rivals?

(Or, maybe just develop better pitching? That’s just my take.)
