While he has not had many chances to start over his two-year NBA career, Brooklyn Nets guard Cam Thomas has shown enough to the Nets fanbase to be excited about. He seems to be going into another season of being a backup guard, but that doesn’t stop anyone from touting him as a player with a high ceiling.
In a recent article by Bleacher Report, Andy Bailey listed Thomas as Brooklyn’s highest-ceiling prospect. Once Oct. 13 rolls around, Thomas will be 22 years old and despite going into his third season, that is still a really young age for a player who has shown so much.
Thomas has started just six games out of 124 appearances, but he already has four 40-point games to his name and he has scored over 30 points in a game six times. Thomas’ greatest asset is his scoring and when he gets going, there’s little that defenses can do to stop him.
