Joint practices often feature at least one fight between the two teams and Wednesday’s session held by the Rams and Raiders was no exception. About 90 minutes into practice, Cam Akers and Maxx Crosby got into it after a play. Punches were thrown and both players were kicked out of practice for the rest of the day, but it wasn’t an all-out brawl that disrupted the rest of the session.
You can see a couple of shots from their dust-up in the tweets below, which also gives some perspective as to the size difference between Crosby and Akers.

Their fighting didn’t end there, though. After practice, Crosby was asked about the scrum and said Akers didn’t like what he did so “he got what he got.”
Akers responded on Twitter and wondered what he got, insinuating that it wasn’t Crosby who won the fight on the field.
Somebody ask him what it was I got?Anybody with eyes saw what happened 💀😂 https://t.co/jOqmTZ1uyC

He used some photographic evidence to support his case, too. This photo shows Crosby grabbing Akers around the neck with a bunch of Rams teammates in the scrum.
What does a bigger person usually do to a smaller person when they getting punched on? Grab them right? Don’t believe the hype https://t.co/v4HZTAM5dc

Akers promises to be better for his team and assuming he’s back at practice on Thursday against the Raiders again, he’ll be sure to avoid any other skirmishes with the Raiders defensive end.
Gotta be smarter though & I will be for the squad !
